This beautiful contempory artwork is Mason Storm's update of Caravaggio's 1601 baroque painting 'Supper at Emmaus' which hangs in the National Gallery, London.
It depicts the resurrected, but incognito, Christ as he reveals himself to two of his astonished disciples, as the innkeeper looks on as if oblivious as to what's happening.
Caravaggio liked to depict sublime moments couched in everyday encounters - Mason Storm has simply updated the artist's original concept.
